I actually am torrenting the Patlabor TV series as I write and just finished downloading the movies as well as Revolutionary Girl Utena. But I couldn’t find Dallos, I’ll have to do a Crunchyroll trial to watch it but that’s okay.
For Patlabor, the big one is the “Early Days” 7-part OVA and the movies. The first movie is a fun romp circling around a ridiculous real estate project, and the second is pretty much a 2-hour Metal Gear scene (in the best way). I haven’t seen the TV version, but I’ve heard good things.
I’ll look out for Oishii and Tomino. Thanks!
